Thus we would not fax any POD copy to any of our client.It costs more than our delivery charges. You must help us to help you! Provide us your email, and we will email you the info you need. Even scan and get you a copy of the POD.

In fact, with your email you are provided with regular POD report from us. Do something about it.

Small Parcel Packing



Small parcel must be packed into a BIG plastic bag. The bag must be properly labelled and the CN packed outside the bag. In this way, it wont go missing in a 3-ton linehaul truck or being covered by another bigger parcel.

We must always remember that the linehaul workers are working at mid-night, we must help them to notice the parcel during loading and unloading.

Big lettering help them to identify where it was destinated for etc.Even when it is mirouted it can be easily traced.

Missing Carton




Imaging you have so many items coming in to you and before you realise it, the lorry (linehaul truck) is gone. And you start to sort out your inbound consignment. It is not easy to spot any missing consignment until you prepare runsheet and compared it with the in coming manifest.
How to speed up a quick check? Mark it properly on the cartons themselves with BIG marking like 1/2, 2/2 CN XXXXXXX or 1/8,2/8 ,3/8,4/8,5/8,6/8,7/8,8/8 CN number on the boxes. You will notice a missing carton if 3/8 with CN XXX XXX is missing.
How to track on missing carton?
Check the store at hup centre, check the various stop-over stations, check the van drivers that picked up the consignments from the hup centre etc. Easiest method is a email with detail particular to all network stations.
All network stations must learn to inform the sending station when any extra carton is found in their station, and immediately arrange for a transit the same night linehaul. Good networking, good team work will solve all such missing carton.

Problem Mail

When NTB had a problem mail from our client, we need email address to get in touch with our client. However, if our client does not provide us with a email contact, we will not be able to keep the sending station informed of the problem mail. In such cases, we will return the mail after holding it for a number of days.

Thus, we encourage every courier service station to sign up for a free web-email or secure your own email address. Presently we have one problem mail in hand. We will be returning to sending station by end of the week.

Phone Contact Again

This morning noted a number of consignments are without phone contact number. This will result in delay of delivery, if the place cannot be located, or when there is no one in upon reaching the location.
A Phone contact can help to get in touch with consignee and new arrangement can be made to deliver the mail.

Kindly go an extra mile by asking for both shipper and consignee's phone contact.
Why ask for the shipper's contact? In case of problem mail you can always get in touch with the shipper.

Covering Upto Bukit Minyak Industrial Estate

Of late I was forced to deliver to the Bukit Minyak Industrial Estate. I was surprised that there is a short cut from Simpang Ampat-Tambun area to BMIE.

I went to make a survey of the area and I have decided to serve my clients for mails going to BMIE.

At the same time, I hope to secure some clients from this industrial estate. So begining May 2008 those who are making use of my delivery services can send their mails to NTB. We will deliver for you.
